Audition Coaching
My training includes instruction in the approaches of Uta Hagen, Lee Strasberg, David Mamet, W.H. Macy, Sandford Meisner and more, so I’ve got a pretty well rounded “bag of stuff” to pull from in my efforts to communicate with you and to help you get the best out of yourself. I know that each actor is a different human being with their own “wiring,” which means we will use a combination of approaches and techniques to find what works best for you in the moment.
Career Coaching
My career consulting work with people is definitely “New York-centric.” It includes an emphasis on growing the actor’s presence in the theatre community. Success in the NY theatre community (as an actor and as a community member) can open doors to the film and television casting community and creatives. If you are willing to approach the business side of things authentically and creatively, your network and experience will grow with time and dedication.

Michael is currently teaching his career strategies class to graduating students during this fall semester at the Atlantic Theater Company’s Acting School.
